I bought a Busa & won Pro E/T ! ! !

At the Summer Cycle Fest with NMRA I bagged a win . . .

I went down to Malcolm Smith Motorsports, bought a Busa & won.

Suzuki pays $500.00 to win on a 1999 or newer model year bike.

Big fat wheelies with no rod bearing problems.

I also got money from www.NMRAonline.com

I still have my ZX11, motor needs fixin'

I should be good in the points for 2003 !

Awesome...Congrad's on the win!!!

I don't think that Busa did it for you....You must be a good drag racer!!!

It's all about the rider!!!! Good luck this season.

Thanks zx12,

she said good drag racer...

You made my day !

The Busa is a stock 2002 left over demo, & it's fun to ride !

I'm going to lower the rear with longer links, (I'll make em tonight)

Thanks to you too slow, perhaps you can give me tips on going fast...

After running a friend's busa in a street race recently and pulling in $100 riding someone else's bike using someone else's money, I must say the Hayabusa is a nice bike for drag racing. If I had to do it over... ???

I'm told that the Busa motor can take 350 HP without worries...

I agree RAC41T. I normally drag the hubby's Busa. It is alot more stable off the line. You can launch harder because it is less wheelie pron then the ZX12R (my .02 cents anyway).

RedBull,
I would suggest the clutch mod. That hydr. clutch in the Busa makes it hard to launch (can't feel when it is going...it's either on or off). The clutch mod makes it feel like a cable clutch.

I was running 9.11 @156 last year on hubby's 202hp Busa. The bike will go 8's but I looped it before I put it there! I just got back at it this year and will get the 8.9999 pass before the season ends.

Just Lower it, strap it and hang on!!

Wow, Red. I go away for a couple weeks and you go off and win a race. You go, boy!!!

I'm glad that the strap worked out for you. Bummer about the ZX11, but it sounds like you're back in the game.

Ang, when you suggest the clutch mod.

It looks like there are a few...

Weld the stock basket,

buy a billet basket,

or a full lock up.

What's good ?

Look here -

BDE - Modification Clutch for the GSX1300R Hayabusa

This Modification makes the hydr. clutch feel like a cable clutch. Makes it easier to launch instead of the hydr. On/Off.
