oil light on till 1500rpm
I rebuilt my engine about 15k ago.....at about 10k....the oil light would stay on u till revved to 1500rpm.....instead off going off at 1100....before it would have to drop to 800 to come on...but I know that's normal.....1500 is not
(this is after its warmed up,first starting cold.....it does stay on at 1100rpm)
I don't have an oil guage.....what do you'll think it is,and how should I trouble shoot
My first guess is a bad gauge....then I get worried....and wonder if my 3rd rod bearing I fixed,with new crank,rod,bearngs.....is to much clearance and spitting oil wedge out to fast

never should the oil light be on when the engine is running ...NEVER

I've adjust my idle so it turns off
I'm doing a pressure test this weekend and oil/filter change

sounds like a serious pressure leak or a somewhere inside to me, or maybe an air leak between the pump and sump. get a gauge on it
