Mad Mike's Bike Goes Fast!!! Very Fast!!!
Well over the weekend in Norwalk OH, we had a great weekend, didnt win anything but had a good time. Well during timetrial's I was cutting the Tree, down! but Eliminations did not fair so well, lost in the second round of the 10K race and first round of street and Pro ET... now to get to the fast part, OldKawboy, and his son Chad, were at the event and as always we talk, and root for each other.... Well on saturday night they had an open grudge racing event after elimenations, So I asked Chad if he would be interested in riding, The Old Interstate Batteries ZX12R, and I could evaluate how fast the old girl could really go. Chad seemed kind of nervous the first pass, you see he had never raced a bike with an arm on it before.... So on his first pass he bogged off the line and ran a 9.40 pass. (my best pass of the weekend was a 1.54-60'@9.601@143.8mph.),on the second pass he bogged again, and ran around a 9.35. so we go back to the trailer and I adjust the air in the tire and the shock seemed ok so we left it(I had adjusted everything earlier for him). Well on the next pass he ran a 9.24, then a 9.20 with his best pass of the night being a ""1.54-60'@ 9.18@152mph "", Now this is with my stock motor lowered with a strap, arm, and K&N's, and MO2X fuel..... Man Chad was Moving!!! looked great!! Dan has some video of him so hopefully he can post it. just goes to show How much diffrence can be made with 115lbs of weight gone....I did have to give chad a hard time though, because he did not beat my 60' time... Thanks Dan and Chad! had a great time, Just wish I would have been putting $$ on ya.. I am sure quite a few people took home some change....

AT that rate, Chad could have hit 8's (He sure was heading in that direction!! I saw that your Boy Super Nut lost to a Kawasaki (RG) From the looks of the time, I think they "syked themselves" out!

That's a really good ET and MPH for a stock motor - way to go Chad According to my calculations, you're both getting all juts about all you can out of that bike... 
What ever happened to your 1361 Mike? Don't you wanna go fast???

Yes good weather and Chad would have been in the 8's for sure!!!! I know I have been in the low 50's so he could have done it for sure!!! and Dean, I have been getting it back together, but it has been slow going! I am taking my time this time no rushing, just got my new camchain guide in, mine was warn! so should have it in this week(fingers crossed!), and VH yea shine got drug the whole way! That is why they call it Racing, because if they called it Winning Everyone would do it!! LOL... I know you like seeing him get it broke off inside, but I would be 1 large that it would not happen at the next race, and you know what it was cool as shit seeing these guys throwing around "Thousands" of dollars like me at the nickel slots..... I would say Saturday Night there was at least 100 grand floating around the burnout boxes........ Fun Fun...

Chad is a hell of a good rider. I know you were fuckin with him about the 60 ft times. Hell, I think one of my legs weigh more than he does.

Mad Mike,
All the way home it was nothing but "I'm gonna get another 12, install a 40 shot and add an arm". He sure enjoyed riding your good looking/running bike.
He felt a little uncomfortable riding someone's bike, was worried about hurting it. I believe faster times were just a few passes away.
It was good to see you again Mike, thanks for making my boy smile since he didn't do so well in the 600SS class.
That class is getting tough, he qualified 9th with a 9.98 and that's the worst to date.
It was good to meet EDBADASS12 and even got to visit with Horsepower Mike.
Chad wanted me to let you know that he's working on an adjustable billet kickstand for you, it may take a little while but you got one coming.

Thanks man, funny thing, I was putting my oil pan on the stroker motor and saw something on my starter gear on the crank, got the old flash light out and man sure enough it was blood on the damn thing from when I was putting it together. made me laugh and think of the old, blood sweat and tears. for sure! thanks

Mike what are your motor mods on this bike? Yeah that Chad is something else to watch. You guys are killing me. I cant wait to get my 1361 done!!!!!!!!!!
