New drag racer looking for advice

I have just purchased a 2001 ZX 12R turbo bike done by EFR racing. Drag tire and wheelie bar. I am just setting up the bike right now. It has not been down the track yet . I have never raced before and have read some of the threads concerning the wheelie bar set up. There is very experienced guys out there on this site that I would really appreciate if they would help guide me through there past experience. My season is very short. I have been street riding for 33 years and have always wanted to run the 1/4 mile. Now I'm in the need of mentors to keep me from making inexperienced rookie mistakes that will hurt the bike or me.
