CAMSHAFT SELECTION
Ok i have a 20004 zx10r
i have an extra(2004) head along with a 2008 head
i love doing 9/10th mile runs and would like to get a combination that would be specifically tailored made for this or close to it
the stock intake camshaft is 244/358(9.1mm lift)
the 04 kawasaki race intake is 250/382(9.7mm lift)
than ape racing sells a intake cam 248/384
these sets of camshafts are all for the 2004-2005 zx10r
but from what i been hearing gen1 gen2 and gen3 zx10r are all interchangeable
the 2008 stock intake camshaft is tock Intake: 296 duration / 10.3mm lift
kawasaki Racing Intake: 301 duration / 10.5mm lift
ape sells a intake cam 245/396
but also for the 2006 they sell an intake cam 256/400
now from what i been gathering lift is whats needed to help more air get into the cylinder granted ill need a serious valve train upgrade but which INTAKE CAMSHAFT would be more suited for top end racing?

Use the Kawasaki "Kit" cams (both), springs and ECU if you can find one. Can't do better than that.
