Drag Cart Triumph 955
So I know this isn't a drag bike but I thought you guys might have the best advice
I'm building a drag go cart with a triumph t595 engine and wanna take it too the highschool drags for 1/4 mile.
I was just wondering what would be a good front and rear sprocket mix to keep pulling the whole time
It's got 19.5 inch diameter Hoosier slicks so a 61.26 circumference and the front sprocket is 18 tooth and the rear is 43. engine and trans is completely stock
Thanks Haha I just don't really know what rpm should be or how many gears you use in a bike for the 1/4 mile kinda new to this.

must have Max RPM's and Overall Gear Ratio
You want to run out of RPM's just past Finish
Overall =
Primary, which is[ Clutch gear / Crank gear ]
........................................ x 6th gear.....................
............................... x [ rear 43 / 18 front ]...........= Overall Ratio
You can use 4th, 5th, or 6th gear ratio, just plug in to equation

Here is every calculator you will ever need in Dragracing

gearing low enough to be using all six will be easiest on the clutch. considering the extra weight, this would be favorable. hard to say exactly what will work without some trail and error. lucky aluminum gears are cheap, i got a few as wall hangers and a few others went to local guys.
