Fired up the Blackbird today
Had to charge the battery,it finally started after what I thought were knocking noises,I let it idle,then reved it a few times to see if there is a miss,but sounded ok for a cold motor.The oil light was flashing so I turned it off and added some oil.It doesn't have a sight glass,the clutch cover is an MRE abd it comes with a dip stick,wkich is hard to read.It will be quite a while until I can ride anything.I did however ride the 12 around the block,I fast idle'd the bike and eased off the clutch,got it in 2nd gear,with no use of my right hand.I wonder how long these pins have to be in-this sucks.

That does suck, when are you gonna be able to race? Your 12 needs to get some of my stock busa

Red,maybe you aught to make a pass or 2 on my 12 before you want to put your busa against it.I still have the all motor passes time slips from HRP.The worst beeing 9.49 @145 with a 1.61 short,119mph8thmile, and a mess-up foot shift,on that pass I still beat Coranado on his stretched nos zx9.Best motor pass was 9.23@149 with a 1.54 short,123mph 8th mile air shifting the whole way-all motor.Maybe we can go to the track with it,you can pilot,we just can't blow it up,I may have to sell it to build the Blackbird up.

Hey, I'll roll on the 12, I need a little "stretchedbike" practice Let me know when you want to we can take it to kennedale with us....I'd like to see how fast I could go on it.

I think you would do good,it's a little tall in the back for me,but I want to save the plastic for now.Maybe soon,but there is rain in the forcast wed,thurs,give me a call.
