Poll Question:
what does your 12 weigh
Weighed my bike over the weekend and came in at 494 lbs with 1.5-2 gallons in it. What are you guys at? Also anyone selling GSXR or zx10 wheels? Thank you for your help!

I guess in the 4's isn't so bad then. Still looking for some light wheels, any suggestions? (and yes I do have a budget)

Joey,
A little bit of everything....Catalyst bodywork, Trac front end with RC Comp wheels, NO cooling system, Stock tank removed and replaced with a small fuel cell...I'll post up some pictures later tonite.
I'm actually going to try and lose some more weight....the goal is 400lbs !! A light weight battery and a chrome moly swingarm will shave off another 20lbs...

Thanks for the ideas Roy. I've been looking at the idea of removing my tank that weighs 19 plus lbs. You put you fuel cell in your swingarm? (suck that I have to have a min of a gallon to race other words run out on fuel with stock tank) I already have a light battery and a lighten aluminum arm.
How much power you pushing and fastest mph?

Hello Roy,
Great pictures on a great looking bike. that front wheel and tire looks like it weighs 5lbs! great ideas on everything (struts must be another 15lbs). What are you looking at doing next? New thin wall subframe, carbon fiber bars/ pegs?
Unfortunately i ride my bike on the street and have to keep a gas tank and a decent front end on it. I should look at putting a 600 front end on it. Or maybe i should look at putting my 12engine in a 600! lol But i am going to look at making an aluminum gas tank and new wheels. Also finishing up shortening up my bars 2inches.
what kind or horse power and mph do get out of that thing?

Mine weighs in at 475 lbs. It has Marchesini Mag wheels, cut fuel tank. airtech tail, light battery. Next weight reduction mod is a chromoly swing arm.
