Another fine day at the track

Ok Guys heres what I did. I went and bought a 52 rearsprocket and put it on the bike so now I'm running a 16/52 and running 9.5 lbs of air in the tire I also readjusted (rasied) the wheelie bar. Launch rpm is 8000.

First pass was an easy one
1.65 60' and 9.93
1.39-10.2
1.40-9.24 @ 146 mph..."Best Pass of the day"
1.43-9.32
1.41-9.38
1.42-9.26
1.41-9.33
1.48-9.42

I made all these passes in 2 1/2 hours and most were hot laps. The temp was around 55 degrees with a 15 to 20 mph cross wind.

I would like to thank everyone that help me..Thank you..

I go to my first PMRA race this Saturday in OKC racing in Pro E/T I'll let you know how I do next Monday....

Tire Smokin, NOS Purgin, Turbo Screaming thats PMRA drag racing............GO PMRA......

Ok for you guys that don't know this, its a 2001 ZX12R that is lowered, K&N, Muzzy Clutch basket and clutch assembly, air shifter w/ auto shift every thing else is stock. I did remove the can so I am running an open header. Slick and bar with gear thats about it.

zxlnt we are going down Friday night about 6:00pm, from Wichita. We are staying at the Thunderbird Lodge (aka.Thunderchicken) in Norman its about $40.00 a night and about 10 to 15 minutes from the track. Let me know if you need the phone number. And were coming back Saturday night after the race. Race should be over about 7:00 pm or so.

And Redbull Yes I plan on going to Tulsa to the Big race with Ya...hahahah

I would like to say Thanks to all you guys for all your input on this web site its about the only one I go to anymore.....

DR JOE

That is some good #'s for a "stock" bike!! I bet you left some of the guys scratching their heads wondering how you have such good times?! MPH is 146, so I can tell it is stock motored. Just think, getting it piped and mapped right would probably make you a good 8.90 index bike.....incredible

Dr Joe,don't be dissappointed if you do not get in the 8s with your bar and slick. Unless you add some juice. With your best time ever of a 9.24 a pipe and powercomander will not give you 3 tenths.Hide a dry shot in your tail section and watch everyone sh*t there pants.lol
