had a great night at maple grove friday
some of us went to maple grove friday night. the bike was running in the lower 9.50s when i did my job. i still have to get back into the mid 1.5s for the 60ft more often that night i got two 1.58s at least.
but the best run was with a good friend who i have raced with since the mid or early 90s.
we were side by side my zx12r and his 01 gsxr1000 . he has a cam mod pipe and tune. our bikes are real close in power to weight.

It was a real fun night.most fun pass with him that I can remember.
Paul that was at 500ft 1440da 695lb total package. We both wanted the 9.40s but
We both botched the last pass. He wheelied on a 1.53 60ft and I wrecked the shift to 2nd
On a 1.58 60ft. A bummer but still great fun.

it has a muzzy ti pipe. dobeck tuner in the trunk for messing with fuel. ecu i tuned and then leaned out on purpose so i can add fuel with the dobeck. now when i want to add fuel or take away i just open the trunk and get the tweeker out.
bike is 4.5" over lowered to the middle. shinko hookup and 17/51 gearing. and pauls old lock up in the clutch. since the lockup i have stopped braking clutch plates. (i still hand clutch it on launch set up sort of stiff but still a bit eaiser than stock)
