Picture of TFA on the strip....

This was taken at the first NMRA race of the season in Palmdale, CA. This is the first time I've seen myself in action. Man, I really gotta work on my tuck. The bike has to work hard enough hauling my fat ass down the track without me acting like a big parachute too.

Entropy, I think I was runnin 11psi in that shot. The whole day, I drifted anywhere from 10psi to 12psi looking for a sweet spot that didn't exist at this track. I either totally spun off the line or hooked up and bogged. There was no in between there for me.

Turbo, I know it's a streetbike, but I'm a total wuss when the front wheel comes off the ground. I needed all the help I could get.

This is the picture that Red wants you to see. In this one he's slipping the clutch nicely and getting a good launch.

Unfortunately for Red, this is what he did the rest of the time.... (I'm jealous, Red. I want a fat wheelie picture of me too.)

D-money! Just wait til we get to Vegas. It's gonna be a lot closer when we race on a track that has some traction.

This is Damon (n2zx12mph) launching his pimp ZX-12 at the same race. I think he's at least 50 lbs lighter than me. He can be an honorary member of TFA if he wants.

Your right !

We do need to tuck . . .

Thanks for the pics Aris !

When I lift my leg to go into 2nd gear, my Fat A$$ settles rearward . . .
We need to outlaw the air shifter in this 60" heads up class,
it gives Mike Burkhart a major advantage over the rest of us foot shifters.

Thanks for the launch tips guys, however she was still on a slick,
and she wanted to climb up the rear wheel & spit me off !

Augustine Herera is hooking me up with one of those 18" Yokahama's . . .
I hope that it will work for me in Fallon, Nevada. And I'll lean her out too !

I hope to see more of you guys racing with us out here in the west . . .
It was really nice to finally race with team PINOY from the far east Pacific !

Are you sure that you want to race NHRA instead of all the motorcycles ?

See you at the track ! ! !

Yup, I'm sure. I am freakin' determined to win me that damn Wally trophy. That trophy is my only goal right now. I haven't been able to get it out of my mind since the Div 7 race at Firebird.

It will be mine.... Oh yes, it will be mine...

So hook me up, do I need to go with an air shifter ?

Do you think that it will settle my 1 - 2 shift ?

I'm probably low on horsepower too. . .

Perhaps I need a tune up,

or a faster bike.

Busa or ZX12
