Do my eyes deceive me or is that a rough looking AN fitting? How much additional clearance do you get?

And TB it should get you about 3" with a sidewinder, But you have to cut and modfiy your lower fairings to get this...Think your bike low now do this and what your 60' times fall... this is what I'm getting ready to do to mine..

I wouldn't care how ulgy it is, as long as doesn't unport at the pickup. I'm sure Coby Adams did it right. 3" is a LOT to drop What did it cost ARH?

If it'll let me drop 3", I don't care what it looks like. The only thing I'm not too clear on is cutting the bottom of the fairing out. The fairing hooks together in the middle down there. Do you have to cut that out too? Do the sides flap around at speed without being connected at the bottom? Would you have to add a bracket so that the sides bolt somewhere else?

Just thinking outloud...

Just a note that these pans only work with a sidewinder and increase oil capacity to about 5 litres

I also have some detailed photos that Ryan Schnitz sent to me of his Coby modified pan. I don't believe his has an AN fitting on it just a regular bolt. If anyone wants to see them let me know.

You don't run a full lower fairing in 60" pro sport bike, you cut it down for additional clearance. The rule is 2" ground clearance, you would be surprised how much lower Coby's and Ryans 12R's are over mine, at least 2.5" lower than mine on it's lowest setting and they still have the rules covered!

Here are the pics I got from Ryan:

http://host42.ipowerweb.com/~dontbesc/photos/misc/ryans_cobypan3.jpg
Enjoy.

Here is what Ryan said: "Basically Coby cuts about 1-1 1/2 inch off. Then adds on to the side of the oil pan. If you look, you can see two drilled holes to allow the oil in the new section. There is also a picture of the slot that is cut near the pick-up to allow oil from the new section to the pick-up. Let me know if you need any more pictures of it.
Ry--"

Maybe you are just plain ugly? Or your too pretty to see some good stuff? Cock in your eye?

I like the looks of custom pieces with TIG welding, billet parts, all that type of shit. Custom race shit looks pimp to me....Im tired of all the carbon fiber, candy paint crap, this looks like something that will go fast

The pan is expensive. I can't recall exactly what Ryan said Coby charges, in fact if I recall correctly he wasn't sure since I think Coby didn't charge Ryan for his, but I think it's loot $$
