ZX12R RACE CAM ID.
Trying to figure out what cam this is that was installed in the intake side my motor...
ID markings are....
320in
419x5A-AC
08-08
These markings are between #3 lobes.....
Thanks for any help.....
Pulled the cams out because of a knocking noise heard in the head on the left side of the motor....Sounded more like it was coming from the exh. side, but haven`t found the problem yet...Keepers are all intact, springs are together, shims are there.....
Thanks for any info....

The 12R cams are weld ups....meaning, a stock cam is used for the base. You need to measure the height to get lift. Duration is a different story...
Use a good caliper and measure the height of the lobe.

Are you using a vernier caliper? That can be a little off., measurement to measurement. All lobes should measure the same, that is the cam grinders job.
What are you seeing? Post measurements and pics. Post a pic of your measuring tool.
EDIT: please post in inches...cam specs are not advertised in mm, for bikes.

Is that a post directed at yourself?? LOL
Measure your base circle and subtract the total height to find lift...

they may have been reground after that, best to check actual lift. my big cams have a reduced base circle to get extra lift (requires thicker shims)
