If it's a 4mm stroke increase, you'll need a 2mm spacer. However, you might want to wait until it all together, and use the spacer thickness to adjust your actual compression ratio.

Chit Kevin, I just spit out what I absorb from other folks, a lot of the time, from you

Mika, if you have a ZX14r, why are you asking this question?

I know that it is about 2 mm, but i want to check exact thickness. I don't know that have they make lower compression also with spacer or just with modified piston.

I have 1361 kit, it get a little cylinder failure and i send it to england for overbore. They lost spacer and now i need new one.

The "1361 pistons" in the Muzzys kit...have the domes cut down to lower the compression...same pistons as they're 1270 kit but...domes are machined to lower compression on the 1361...

kcadby, do you run 1270 pistons in your 1361, (no cut pistons)?
I did assemble my 1361 today, with cut pistons, did run in dyno for 30 miles and first dynorun 201.8 hp SAE on a dynojet 250.

Thanks.

I have 1270 and "1361" pistons home, difference is clear. New pistons are 86mm made by JE.
