i put on t-tap by the thousands each year and i can say for a 100% fact they break and damage the conductor strands they are attached to.....don`t use them on anything you care about....instead carefully inline splice , solider then tape or heat shrink.

true, just tapped in to what was there to make sure everything powered up. everything else is soldered/heat shrink. i'll probably clean it all up tomorrow

Does it matter the model, make and year of the PC V to use?, just as long as the wires are traced to the equivalent wires on the ZX12 cable harness, using the wire diagram from the bike the power commander was created for?
Thinking about trying this, so i can use the auto tune..

What bike pc v are you using? Does it matter?..a friend of mine has one for a ZX14 and he is selling it for 150.00, I was trying to see if I can use that one?

never tried using a zx14 pcv. some pcv models will work and some won't (ended up spending a decent amount of money to find out). the difference i already have this one figured out.

HI,
do you still have this? I have a 2002 zx12r with muzzys 1375 and cam installed. Monster that I call the animal!! Had it dyno'd once and got 201 hp at rear wheel. I have just rebuilt it from scratch and my mechanic thinks a pcv is better than doing a custom map. If you still have this and the wiring diagram, and are wlling to help me get it running right I am interested.
