I need a little help from you racers.
I found a new forum that I have been posting on. The only problem is the man that owns the site is a Busa rider who thinks stock Busa's can run in the 8's in the 1/4 mile.
Today he posted this timeslip from a Busa, he claims. Here is what his post said.
Stock time slip
Here is one from a completely Stock Busa last season from a semi-experienced rider.
I told him no way without pipe, pcIII, extended swingarm and such.
What do you folks have to say about this claim??
BTW: The guy's handle is BusaBully and he put some carbon fiber pipes on his bike for looks only. He said, his bike doesn't need anymore power because Busa's turn 8 second 1/4 miles stock.

Sorry Angie, I had to drag your name into it to show your 1/8th mile time and mph compared to my brother Jack's time on his Busa. I think it might have been your first trip into the 9's, but I had the slip and his.

1.5 short time on a stock arm..stock tire..stock height?
Id question that
6.1@121 / 9.34@154 is possible with some mods (lowering, tire, pipe, etc)...but the guy would have to weigh like 50 lbs for it to be completely stock.

This dude is on "CRACK" last year someone put up $10,000. bucks and said if anyone!! can take a stock busa into the 9's he would pay it! no one took him up on it.

I have seen stock slammed to the ground busas(now-a-days)with gearing do those 8th mile et's with mph a little lower,1/4 mile you have to have a little something else to go 154 on those bikes,jason miller went 9.35@146mph and he weighs less then most riders,plus he had an air shifter and a shock(clearly visible on the video during launch).Also,most "true"busa owners will confirm that a clutch mod is needed to get any kind of good 60's.

No way a STOCK (no pipes) Bbusa will go 150-anything in the 1/4...
121mph in the 1/8 ain't stock #s either...
I HAVE heard of one with Ryan's cousin on it that ran 9.30s but...it was VERY well tuned with PIPES, PC and...SLAMMED to the ground WITH the seat lowered also...
Todd (Ryan's cousin) is very light and a VERY good rider ...

That slip looks very similar to a 6" stretched stockmotor Busa on a dry nitrous kit with a good rider. No stock motor Hayabusa will trap 121/154.
121/154 mph = 190+rwhp

I have a buddy that does 1.50s short time on a 2inch extended Busa, running 9.50/40s @ 142 with Brock pipe PC2 and no air filter...He now has nitrous and goes 9.20s @ 152...
MadMike proved the guy is full of crap...

Actually MM, I ran ONE pass at 9.97 on my BONE STOCK BUSA before it grenaded on me. F%&^# POS!! Down at RRR in April 2000. I never modified the bike one bit. No strap, not lowered or anything else.... Of course, the POS didn't last long enough for me to either

I have seen a bone stock Busa last year run 9.90's stock wheel base and height. 9's are possible but not the above times without some help!

Thanks Madmike and everyone else!! I got tired of arguing with the guy and knew no way a Busa or Zx-12 was ever going to run 121/154 mph stock. I don't know if someone was shitting him and he believed it or he thought he could shit everyone else. But I got tired of hearing him.
I didn't care much for him putting up a ZX-12R banter and showing someone pissing on it either. I couldn't really get on him as hard as I would have liked to, because he is the God of the site.
I didn't get a chance to see what Madmike had to say to him, because BusaBully pulled the whole thread. I guess he took his ball and went home.
Kzz1, ZX-12girl, Madmike and all of you guys worked hard to get the times you have run. I have watch the things you had to go through to lower your times a little at a time. Then I go to a site where some nimrod claims your times ain't shit, because his Busa could run 8's in the 1/4 mile stock. Even though he has never set foot on a track with his Busa.
Thanks for your help, maybe he will think twice before spouting off next time. Ain't nothing like having friends in High Places to help you out in time of need. .......  ...........dj

Ok he erased all of my messages and sent me an email calling me ignorant so I had to reply, I assume that I will be banned very soon. here is what I said and he said
"Hey dude, thanks for replying, and you do have a cool site, man I work very very hard to get every .001 out of my bike and to have people throw #'s up and timeslips stating that the bike is stock when there is no way in hell! a "stock" bike can run 9.3's at 150+mph! Now that is Ignorant. I was not bashing anyone I was calling them out, the boards give to many people the idea that they can throw up garbage and impress their friends who do not know any better. thanks again for your input.

MadMike, I think your visit did alot of good. He has now deleted the guy pissing on the ZX-12R banner that was in the ZX-12 section of the forum.
It would be nice to see a couple of you guys visit that forum from time to time. I think there is only one guy on the forum with a ZX-12. I have been pretty much filling up the Kawasaki section of the forum all by myself.
I did put up a picture of Dave In Daytona's bike in that forum just so people could see how nice it looks. I added his mods and dyno chart too.

Yeap, You can get a 9 sec pass on a bone stock Busa or ZX12R....No problem. But 8 seconds??? LOL Whatever!!

I've been high 9.70s on a BoneStock ZX12...INCLUDING EXHAUST!!!
The bike WAS lowered though...NOT slammed but lowered
