ZX14 and MSD Launch master troubleshooting question
Installed an MSD Launch master on my 08 ZX14 the other day.
Started the bike and it stayed in 2 step when clutch was pulled in and released.
Then switched around the plug-n-play wiring to fix it and started bike, no 2 step and bike sounded like shit. Unplugged the groung plug with the blue wire in same plug and the engine sounded perfect, no 2 step. Switched it back around to try and once again fix it.
I now have no light lighting on the launch master box (to show box is working), no 2 step, basically nothing.
Called MSD they said these are sealed boxes and cannot be fixed if something is wrong, I could send it to them and they can troubleshoot it.
Well instead of sending it to them, I figured I would ask you guys if you ever had this problem? If so whats the fix? Also how could I go about troubleshooting this myself? Multi meter? What would I test for?
