welp.. been a while.. lol
got myself some new toys if plans actually work for me. since the last time i posted i picked up a job as a steam turbine technician and make a shit ton of money doing it.. only problem is, it's seasonal.. to take the off season time up, a shop in wilmington nc where i live threw a bunch of money at me and said "work here"... i obliged. so.. my life is consumed with working on shit and.. working on shit.. i was flown out to san francisco, which is where i am right now, and hope to gtfo of here in the next few days of so.. i was flown out to build a bunch of zx7s of various caliber for a guy who sorta quasi collects them. hes got a nice 96 N1 ZX7RR i put together and some race stuff for roadcourse abuse.. he didn't have money so he threw at me.... bikes.. lol i now have a fully prepped and fun little VTR250 and another p model ZX7R. i did a track day a few weekends back on the VTR and had a BLAST. man that shit was fun!!
so.. the current build besides the VTR ( which is 1mm over and has heavy port work which i may epoxy up and see what it does on the dyno then..)
my new fast toy.. the 99 ZX7R
parts so far are
-636 dash
-pro-lite rotors
-Ti muzzy exhaust
-nissin 4 pots off a gixxer
-93-95 steering stabilizer ( i found a crafty way to make it work)
-muzzy fan blade
-slightly modified motor WITH:
-polished cosworth pistons
-APE knife-edged crank
-APE adj. cam gears
i have no carbs yet... almost thinkin flatslides but.. meh. i would rather do a more simple form of EFI like what i am tossing on the (perpetually-in-build-stage) turblow bike. i won't need fully sequential or data logging or anything spectacular.. batch fire and wasted spark. simple and effective. thinkin i will put this on my exclusive carbon fiber diet and make this a nice little street/track weapon. the blue bike will still see boosted duties. i am almost done collecting parts for that stupid bitch as well.. turbine season kicks in very soon.. hoping i make a ton of money again and can waste some of it when it's the off season again in the winter. wanna put the VTR on a diet too.. it's already stupid light.. i can make it better. should be alot of fun when it's all done with. i should have a nice street bike, nice LSR/drag bike and nice track bike.. life will be good.
all the other pipes and such will be dedicated to FINALLY building a damn header and all for the blue thing. the Ti one was a pain in the ass so i set that one aside.
hoping to get this thing build in a reasonable amount of time. see if something i plan ACTUALLY works out. i've seemed lately to have a problem with making plans unfold without wrinkles and rips..
