Mojave Mile October 2011...need help with gas!
Hey guys, in the process of prepping an 08 ZX14 for the Mojave Mile in October with a friend...loved his 14 so much after one ride that I decided to grab one. Rather than trailering the bikes down from Vancouver, we've decided to ride the bikes down for some end-of-season fun. We've got saddlebags with enough room for all our gear, but we have a bit of an issue - fuel. The bike we're running in the event has a map from Brocks designed to run on VP MR12, and we have no way of carrying fuel down to the event. Its not certain whether a VP rep is going to be trackside in October, and we don't even know if he'll have MR12. Is anyone here going out to the event that plans on trailering or bringing race gas? If so...any chance I can get someone to bring an extra pail of MR12? Our trip is kinda contingent on it at this point, so obviously we'd throw some extra cash out for the gas....

Hey klutch, I am sure that you could get entropy or charlie to trailer your fuel out to Mojave. I could go to VP and pick it up for you and get it to one of them if they have room. You can pay for the MR12 over the phone or something like that because entropy always did. Just let me know if you need me to pick it up, I would bring it myself if I was going but it isnt looking good right now.

That'd be awesome...any way to get a hold of entropy? Tried the PM function but it doesn't seem to like internet explorer...

TFA will bring the fuel if you can get it to me in Houston.
But i'm thinking that for the couple mph you'll gain is it worth it?
Why not run on the same gas you will use to motor on down to Mojave.
Have fun, see what the Mile is all about, and hang with Team Fat Ass, drink a lil beer.
OR, like Tim "smartest man in the world, and i ain't kidding" Chin says, call the local VP dealer and see if he's gonna be there.
I'll run you for beers, whatta ya say?
