DUMB WHEELBASE QUESTION

Yeah, I know I'm a dumb ass but I want to set my bike up with a 63" wheel base and was wondering where to measure from. I'm guessing from the center point of the front wheel to the center point of the rear?

I think a 6 over arm is 63" of wheelbase (going on the statement that a 3 over arm puts me at 60")

I thought it was from the center of the front axle to the center of the rear rear axle myself.

I use a 3/8" extension in the front axle with the wheel straight to get the tape measure out past the bodywork

use a tape measure to measure from the center of front axle to center of the rear axle

Thanks for clearing that up and that extension on the front axle is a good idea.

Cheers

Why 63" ?

They have a 60" class, a 68" class, and a 75" class...

3" over on a 12 is plenty if your not going to use a bar & a slick.

My ZX11 was 64" and I didn't feel like it left any better than a stock 12.

If you want to leave hard, put a bar & a slick on it, other wise 60" is fine.
