OK, real racers only
It would be nice to know exactly how much money you guys spent on your 12 and exactly how much did it lower your E.T. I will be running low 9.7s this year just slammed and geared with mirrors off, no pipe, no motor work, and 210lbs in the saddle. I need to know where to spend wisely. Thanks Robb.

best bang for the buck is nitrous.

The question is how fast (quick) do you want to go? Then we can offer advice to help get you there. Keep in mind all the power on the planet wont get you a quicker ET if you can't launch the bike. PRACTICE is my #1 recommendation, and it's the least expensive. Bang for the buck wheelbase will get you ET, then nitrous, then engine mods. Try a small hit of dry N20 and see what that gets you..

the best ET bang for my buck has been the longer Arm! that is where I would start and go from there!

i do far to much knee dragging for a long arm. was more concerned with pipe gains and cams and maybe a big bore. but what are they really worth

The main problem with going larger on everything with out extra wheelbase, is keeping the front of that thing down, shoot I have a hard enough time with my 1361 and a 6"+ arm keeping the front down on the launch. Rob, I have a spare Muzzy Pipe I can loan you if you would like to give it a try one weekend. and rember the more you add the more you need a PCIII, to optimize what you have. other then the nitrous which you can controll better down track, less likley to wheelie on you.

Get an adjustable arm and another chain if you realy want to knee drag...NOT that big-a-deal to change the wheelbase and chain...if you use a clipped master link...
NO2 is for SURE the cheapest HP...
Since you have experience with it...I don't need to explain the down-side (no NO2...no EXTRA power)...
The 1361 or even a "well built" 1270 will give you the rush EVERY TIME you turn the grip though
I haven't seen it yet (ordered a set this week though) but they (3-companies) are claiming anywhere from 4 to10 HP with cams...depending on what else is done to the motor...

Muzzy clutch & cut the converter out of your pipe.
Then drill some holes through the muffler, or buy a slip on.
That stock pipe with converter will not flow enough volume for a nitrous unit,
so do the clutch & the pipe before the nitrous system...
Then come out & race with the National Motorcycle Racing Association. 60"

Go to one of Rickey Gadson Streetbike drag racing schools in your area.
Learn to ride, then worry about mods to the bike. If you can't get the most out of the bike stock then you will never get the full potential out of the mods that you have bought...
It will piss you off when you do the mods and the guy in the other lane waxes your ass on a stock bike.....My 2 cents.....

too late for me to go to school, i'm not modding till i feel i have the most out of it but i' also feel i'm getting close, theres only 2 bikes around here that can beat my stocker and they are both heavily modded. When i slam it this year i should run high 1.50s 60ft and around 6,35 in the 8th. Not too bad for a porker with a non piped bike. But my real ? was what is a pipe worth, or what is a big bore really worth?
