MS2 diy
thought you guys might want to see my new ecu. steep learning curve ahead for me 
first time soldering something so tiny. did 130 connections so far....

getting rid of the stock ecu, pc3 usb, ign modual, rpm window switch, progressive controller, data logger, kill box, 2 step.... for this

Scott....
Keep us up to date on your progress !!.....I've also been toying with idea of running a Microsquirt. What's funny is that's what I do for a living....I instrument helicopters and engines. We can data log hundreds of parameters. One of the engineers here has been planting the bug in my ear for a while....he's a pretty smart guy and I don't think it'll be too tough to do...I just need to find the time

Bike starts and will idle. Im running some modified firmware from Tony at http://interfacepnp.webs.com/ that allows me to control the air shifter solenoid and set kill time ect that the regular msextra code doesnt have.
Im beyond excited. its been over a yr since my bike has ran. I have some major tuning ahead

just had it revved up to a real 12000 rpm, could go to 14 or more(fuel tables currently go to 14), but i think ill stop here an extra 400 shouldnt be a big deal with Carpenter springs and Ti retainers

so talk to me. what benifit is there on this setup compaired to the stock ecu that i have access to all the maps?

2 step, kill box, multiple stages of nitrous control, relay outputs based on just about whatever you want (auto shift, cooling fans ect), can handle huge injectors, cheap data logger add on, what else do you want to control?

I'm not sure my self.... I was drinking and thinking ... Poor
choice for me.
I guess the MS doesn't care if you have a 2000
Or a 2005 as long as you have the I/O configured correctly

my 01 ecu is sitting on the shelf , the MS doesnt care if its a bike, car, boat, 1 cylinder, v12, whatever, just has to be set up for it.
