Tom,
thanks for posting the link.
I watched that crash (from a mile away), and it seemed to me that he left the track before the traps, other folks say he trapped at 204???
Anyway, one of the pix seems to show him going into the dirt just before the milemarker.
Awesome that he wasn't hurt (too badly)

I was standing right with you. He never tripped the beams and he cut the cables, so he had to have left the track before the mile.
Regardless, the way that car was running, I'm sure he was doing 200.
Sorry to hear about your bike.
I'm gonna do some checking on mine too. I'm not convinced that mine was right either.
I'll raise a glass at Mojave for ya'.

Not good for Texas Mile Insurance. : (
New rules and regs for Beeville. Not too much for the bikes to worry about.
