barnett clutch fibers
So are Barnett clutch fibers better than stock ones? Have 275 HP with NOS and wanted to know if anyone has used the Barnett fibers and how they worked?

I running NOS with my 1361 and have no problems with the stock clutch. I do have the Muzzy basket and hub with the oil mods. Barnett makes a good clutch, but I doubt it is better than the OEM in this case.
Just my opinion!

Barnett sucks...period. Wait till you get clutch fiber material from the Barnetts clogging your oil pickup screen and chew up the fingers on your clutch basket. Stick with stock...they are the best..really!

For my 2cents worth...
One of the guys that I race with has a Busa and when he changed his clutches after 2 1/2 years of racing on them he went to that brand, they lasted 2 weekends. He now has OEM clutches...You decide..I have never seen any clutch thats better than OEM...Thats my opinion...

I'm late but I gotta agree!
BARNETT SUCKS!
There's a well known racer that I've talked to who has stories of personal experience just like mentioned up above. OEM fibers on 170-180hp Busa's, work great, but the Barnett's only lasted one good T&T night, or a weekend or drag racing and they were toast.
Go OEM.
