02 muzzy clutch kit hub

Does anyone know if the Muzzy clutch kit with the drilled hub is better then the stock 02 hub?

Not sure what you mean by help???
I recomend installing the Muzzys clutch kit in ALL 12s...
The 02 I put it in is now a 1361...so he NEEDED the stiffer springs for longer plate life anyway

If you've been 8s spraying the bike in question??? you BETTER GET A BILLET BASKET!!! like YESTURDAY!!!
If you can only get one of the 2 right now (hub or basket) I'd get the basket first...it could be VERY expensive if you break your basket running 162mph kinda power...

Ok, yep my motor is all stock except for the king dual NOS, 6 HD springs, step Hindle with K&N's. Just wanted to to know if the Muzzy hud was better for oiling the clutch or save the 100.00 dollars on the kit and just get the plates and fibers.

I just thought the 02 hub was drilled like the Muzzy one, That is what I was asking. So the 02 is the same as the Muzzy I don't need it.

I would seriously consider investing in a Muzzy billet clutch basket. Several stock-motored 12s have broken baskets, and the chances of collateral damage are high. Screw your plates, think of your crank!

Yes I know the billet basket is a must but with out a clutch I will not be driving at all.

if you're hurting that much for money, then you can't afford to break/crack that stock basket man.

Buy the basket for sure, if you haven't already, and just save a few bucks and drill holes in your hub yourself if its really all about money.
And of course, put a llittle flatness along the puller shaft too.

As an enlistedman (E-6) in the Army it's always about Money .
This is the stock clutch and basket that I used all of last year, I can't beleive the clutch lasted this long.

We get REALY good clutch plate life in John's bike...
About one set of plates per year...that's like 100 runs!!!
John's bike is one of the stock motor bikes that broke the basket...
We were VERY lucky...I was riding it on a bi-run at G-ville before the bike even had an air shifter...I felt the motor viberate just as I shifted into 2nd gear. I killed the power, pulled in the clutch, coasted to the 1st turn off...
It was wierd...the motor was perfectly smooth at idle, so I started to ride it back to the pits...SMOOTH below 3K but...anything above that and...VIBERATION...
Took the oil fill cap off to look at the clutch and sure enough...I saw clutch plates with NOTHING ON THE OUT SIDE of them...EEEK!!!
We were veryVERY lucky...it only broke off 2 sections of the basket and... only "scratched" the inside of the clutch cover!?!?!?
Took the oil pan off to get all the "pieces" out...sent the basket to Falicon for the first run of ZX12 baskets they got...JUST IN TIME for us

LONG story short...PLEASE GET A BILLET BASKET!!!
It will be the best $400 you ever spend on yer bike because...it COULD save you MANY hundreds in repairs
