Which kill box should I get?
NLR digital or MPS? I'm thinking NLR digital.I will be running Nitrous at first and hopefully turbo later.

Is the MPS an analog design?
pick whichever brand, just go digital and you'll have less problems with the timing of the kill.

I don't know anything about the NLR unit yet but...I've NEVER heard of anything "bad" from them...
If you can afford it...I'd look VERY hard at the Muzzy EMS...It does lot of neat stuff for racing...including data recording

I can't afford the muzzy right now so it looks like NLR is my choice.

So I missed the fix about the NOS and airshirters, is it because of the MPS style kills and the fix is a digital type one?

Thats not the fix, just makes for a more prcise and consistant kill time. The fix for a high powered 12 is recut gears.R&D motorsports charges $700 complete.

FUCK
I snooze, I lose. Went to order a NLR digital shift kill from schnitz and they said no longer available.I called sebastian at NLR and he said they don't make them anymore. I will have to buy the 2 step which I could then just use the ignition kill. They are $369 or $200 more than just the ign kill.Wish I would had the $$ when they were available!

Damn, harry. That sucks!!! I got the NLR 2-step on purpose, but I'd be pissed if I only wanted the shift kill. I tried to buy the 2-step without the shift kill, but the shift kill is how they control the revs.

Harry, they haven't been available for a while now.I called everyshop i could think that was a dealer for the nlr digital kill and finally found one in stock. You might want to try the same but if your going turbo later you may want the 2 step anyway. Its only money.lol

Yeah, Harry. Don't make me the only one here with a 2-step. I'm starting to feel like the one-legged step child around here.

Cowboy, if that's true, it's gonna be a while before the 2-steps sell out. I was told that they just made a whole new batch of 2-steps only a few weeks ago.
