I was kind of hoping for a late Jan. third date, instead of Memorial Day.

it was $100/day in Oct

No doubt, demand is very high. I'd bet they could easily run 4 events a year and still have people on the wait list.
Here is my wish list for 4 dates:
1. Early Oct
2. Early Dec
3. Late Jan
4. Late March

What time does the track usually shut down on Sunday?

they shut down when pretty much when everyone has quit running except hot lappin' California Bill.
WAY COOL you are gonna finally make it to the Texas Mile.
