I see no problems with leathers, some type of kill switch, no specific boots, just leather above the ankle,
what kind of power adders are you running?

?? They have never enforced that here at Valdosta. unless you have a turbo or nitrous a diaper isn't necessary. We have ran it for years here and never had anything said to us.
On the other note, a diaper does save a lot of time on cleanup for the other racers.

I called MPS and he said"all licenses will be accepted",but on Psychobike Dwayne from Cycle Concepts was still talking about only accepting AMA licences.I wish them the best but I am not traveling 18hrs to find out.Had too many problems with AMA in the past.

I understand. I don't know what classes your talking about running, and I'm assuming your running a pro class or real street, etc.
AMA was crazy strict on their stuff, especially the kill switch teather.

Dean is the tech Director, great guy, and just had a posting on Dragbike.com the rules are exactly the same as AMA Dragbike except turbo size limit. They are not loosening up at all!
http://www.dragbike.com/dbnews/anmviewer.asp?a=6058&z=13
Problems that could arise, nitrous bottle mounting, kill switch lanyards, boots & gloves, engine diapers & steering dampners. It would be an exceptionally long ride to be turned away!
I understand safety first, but AMA took it to extremes that aren't that neccessary.

I'm not to argue your 18hr. drive to be turned around due to your lack of professionalism or low safety standards. As I would not want to be in the other lane while you wer'e dropping parts and blowing oil and debri in my direction. Then crashing, getting hurt and causing delays for others behind you.Rules are for reasons. If you can't obide by them stay home by all means. But please don't discourage any body else that may decide to attend this event.I firmly believe that this kind of negativity affected the demise of Dragbike,Prostar,IDBA etc.

Rules being "loosened up" might have just been a rumor to get people to show up but it wouldn`t matter to me because I follow rules...I dont/.wouldn`t want to be DQ`ed in the final for not having the right cord on my kill teather....Although they did get kinda funky about metal/carbon fiber on the gloves and then the boot thing.....(Quote)"Jay Regan of MRE says the manufacturers putting the race on have kept the rules to a minimum and the entry fees low"......Taken from Dragbike.com

Thats quite the assumption, being my bike will pass tech anywhere. The problems is you dont know what the rules are.I have passed tech at NHRA national and divisional races for 30yrs.But my license ,kill cord, boots and gloves MAY not pass tech when I get there.Trust me when I tell you I race more than just about anybody you know.

A few years ago I went to an AMA race where they passed the guy in front of me with no DOT or Snell stickers on his helmet because of who he was.And then denied the guy behind me for not having a diaper on a 10 second bracket bike.Preach on about rules

A note from Jay…
Jay Regan of MRE says the manufacturers putting the race on have kept the rules to a minimum and the entry fees low while still offering healthy purses to encourage more racers to show up. Jay also said there will be lots of vendors on the midway offering race specials and discounts. All the more of a reason to come and checkout those parts you have always wanted to put on your bike.
