Working on it. Just got off the phone with him a lil while ago. He needs to find a 1270 kit first!! You know where one is at cheap??

there is a few used kits over on the labusas 12R board. I prolly wouldn't buy used pistons and definetly not used rings. Motorhead or APE have the best prices on pistons and cylinders. Around $900 for both with gaskets + exch. What ended up being wrong with the motor??/ Rod?

Alan, seems like it was something to do with the top end, not bottom end. It would be good to see Joey get more than 3 passes in 2003, eh?

If anyone has some phone #'s where I can get these kits(not used),if I can get a complete one for $900 w/out shaving the cylinder to fit,and is that price w/my core or not?Alan,I guess you didn't see it,but I posted a "damage report",#3 piston,rod,crank,cylinder,new head,a few valves,one cam and a spark plug,I already recieved the high performance hayabusa valve springs w/the bases ready to drop in.The damage came from a valve hitting the piston,according to Lee's,from my mps kill pitching my shim when it popped during a shift.I'm also very close to obtaining a "BIRD"with a little " BOOST"...

Carl,I know what you mean,I make more passes on gixxer 1000's then I do on ZX12's.(Last sunday at yellowbelly,in particular).You all do remember the guy who rode Johnny cheese's turbo busa at the shoot-out right?He was there last sunday too and won $200 on a race,he was piloting a red 2002 zx12 and smoked the guy pretty bad.

Yes Joey, the force is calling you! SUZUKI! That was Stacy on Cheese's copper top. RIDIN MOFO! Hope you get your bike fixed soon. My wore out shits gonna have 100k miles on it before I see you at the track again. You need to hurry so we can run heads up on motor. UH, maybe not if you have the 1270 but if you go back stock, we can play.
