Good luck guys.... I hope the wind is a tail wind.

Karl, do you have your new stage 3 Competition CNC cylinder head on there for this event?

Ryan, did you bring both bikes?

Wish I was there.

hey Jim,
i'm still base set up, all Carpenter parts, After Maxton, i'll dyno it, pull it down, check everything, put on yr stage 3 head.
I want to have a well documeted before & after.

I gotta say that the Carpenter 1635 kit rocks, and if/when yr stage 3 head adds even more hp: YIKES!

BTW: I received the Montgomery Motorsports 49mm TB's right before i came down to the Mile

oops almost forgot about a race report.
The green Busa did 211.8 off the trailer shake down pass into a slight 3-5mph direct headwind, still getting used to the AIM Sport dash/logging system. By the time i was ready to get after it the wind had picked up big time. No need to beat up the motor, sat yakking for the afternoon.

Doug on my 12 had a shifting issue, throw away 1st pass, which was resolved after he called his pal at Muzzy's a couple times. I damn sure should have drawn a wiring schematic for the 12 somewhere along the line.

Bill Warner made some shakedown passes, Tom Gates also, but wind prevented any balls out effort.

about 60 bikes signed up. 140+ cars
a car carrier pulled in thurs eve with 5 corvettes & 2 MB's. This event is getting nutz.

Today, Sat will be a zoo, gonna put our bikes on the grid before daylight.
Maybe we'll get a pass in moderate am wind, bc this afternoon is supposed to be just like yesterday, fukken windy 20+.

Sun the wind is forecast to be down quite a bit.

Congrats Wild Bill / Team Forstall! 3 huge track records + a 250+ NA record at Bonneville, not too bad a year, eh

Karl is dropping 2-teens all over, I think a 220 is on the horizon, maybe a little NC air will help. Go Doug!

Good luck tomorrow folks.

yesterday, sat wind was 5 on the nose at 8am, climbing to low 20's from FR around noon, dropped to teens in the late pm, Racing was halted at dusk, still windy. Gust was higher.

We had an EZ-up incident at mid day, thanks to the crowd at TFA Central only one was toast (Jason from dallas)
Oh well.

Still Bill got his 270!!!!!! Tom Gates had issues, a gremlin or 2, but his bike sounds and looks great. We have big hopes for him today!!!

Doug got a 197 in the morning and 195 in the afternoon on my 12, bike sounds awesome, and doug rode perfect agressive passes; fukken wind.

Brenda had a crazy wind experience during shut down, was hoppin' & poppin' around the Pits afterwards OMG-OMG-OMG.

Wild Bill & JC coppertop turbo running in the 190's, practically no one running like they want.

I got a 216.7 on the green Busa on first pass, lit tire up bad (good? ) outa the hole.

Lambos are a treat to watch run, they have so much hp (1500+?), some are having traction issues as far down the track as we can see. There are 6+?? of em. An orange one apparently had too short of a chute line and the ass end was lifted off the ground during shut down, rolled lotsa times, driver OK. Subsequent track shutdown screwed my chance for a 2nd pass in the am.

The number of participants and spectators is off the charts. Too damn long grid waits, people everywhere. Kids n dogs, kids n dogs...

Organizers let too many participants in this time, but Today, Sunday should be lighter.

Wind forecast for today is 6-9mph at 9am, incr to 9-13 miday slowly tapering offf in the pm.

TFA will be as close to the front of the initial grid as we can get.
