Nope K, not going to make this one. I'm at least squeezing a drag strip evening in with a road track day on the 17th for this month. Just telling the wife though that it's about time to get back down to one. I need to speak with "the cheese". Just heard from 9secJen he may have had some bad luck at his shop. Ya'll be careful out there, enjoy and be careful!

I'll be there Friday, Saturday for a couple hours in the morning (#2 son has a football game and nephews B-day party), then Sunday till about Noon(#1 son has baseball). I'll would like to run in Miami over the winter, if they have it. Then Texas Mile in march, and maybe fit in a trip to Mojave or Maxton. If Karl makes it to the Salt, I sure would not mind flying and lending a hand. Just my LSR wish list.
The Texas Mile is so big now they should really have a winter (Jan) event!

all right Gary, gonna fly FTA colors several days at the Mile.
It'll way cool seeing the big boyz running their turbos, awesome competition for sure.
2011 should be my intro to the salt, and since Helena's Mom recently took that ole "stairway to heaven", she will undoubtedly go with me. She loves talking to you in Spanish.
So it will most excellent if you come out and be the pit guy to pick me up at the end of the passes.
Actually, she loves talking to everyone

Sorry to hear about your wife's Mom. If you know which salt event and hotel you will be at, let me know so I can book a room, flight out, and rental car. Be sure and talk to Fred Vance at the Texas Mile, he'll give you the scoop on stuff.
Is the "Green machine" boxed and ready to go for the Texas Mile?

I haven't really thought about which salt event yet, will be coordinating with Ryan, Fred, Dean. I let you know.
Both green machines have stuff to do, but not major.
I haven't heard anything about Charlie but sure hope you are right.
It would be good to see that old fart in his natural habitat.

As long as they will let us play, we are on the waiting list with the bagger.
Trying to run on a 137mph record, just finished it up on the dyno.

That sucks, just make it nice and fat. Use Friday at the Mile as your asphalt dyno.
See you Friday lunch time.

I hear you Shane, and i have paid the price several times for pinning it off the trailer.
My right hand won't follow orders and i break shit.
However, I made progress in showing some discipline at Mojave a mo ago
The plan was for a 175mph 1st pass, dog it in each gear, watching AF & oil pressure gauges, get used to the new shift light, gear indicator. basically do a shake down pass on my new Busa.
My right hand followed the plan till 1/2 way thru 3rd gear; better than it has ever followed the plan previously.
