All NMRA classes except street E/T run on a 4 tenths tree.
www.NMRAonline.com will be racing Funny Bikes this year...
Streetbike Shootout, has been adjusted to 60" naturally aspirated...
Outlaw Shootout, for the streched turbo nitrous bikes, up to 75"...
Hot Rod Cruiser has the Quickest Cruisers in the west !
Top Gas 8.20 index is the Motorcycle Dragracers Favorite ! ! !
Super Comp. 8.90 index is a great class ! If you can run the number...
Super Gas 9.90 index has room for all the heavy hitting production bikes...
Then there are the E/T classes, for the Pro & the Sportsman Racers...
Pro E/T from 7.50 ~ 12.99 and this class has a wide variety of dragbikes...
Street E/T 10.00 & slower, No need for an NHRA license, Steet tires only...
So I'm sure that NMRA has a class for you & your bike...

Countdown to the NMRA Winter Challenge Season Opener !
Do any of you plan on coming out to race with us, in So Cal. ?
I'm sure that you'll have a blast,
just being at a race with close to a hundred bikes.
Get out to Los Angeles County Raceway in Palmdale, California !
The last Saturday of the month, March 29, 2003...
Friday night Test - n - Tune from 5 pm. till 10 pm curfew...

Carlsbad raceway has an event on Sunday, north of San Diego. . .
If you want to go, you can crash out at my house on Saturday night,
Then we can head down the 215 to the 15 to the 78 into Carlsbad...
The NMRA race is an all Motorcycle event,
Carlsbad won't have as many bikes.
The tracks are just over 100 miles apart...

Thanks for the offer, Red, but I already have a place to crash in Palmdale. My buddy just moved there. But, I may just do Carlsbad with you one Sunday. I can't commit right now because Carlsbad would add 3+ hours of driving to my trip on Sunday. I will most likely decide on Saturday.

Yup, more seat time running 2 classes, but I never got a chance to get into a rhythm. I'm going to stick to Super Gas next race.

I don't know, Red. I was too busy working on my bike. I didn't catch any of the rest of the races after I got eliminated.
They don't post the results on the NMRA website?

We really lucked out !
God blessed us with a beautiful day for racing...
I know that a lot of you had a hard time making it to the track...
But man was it worth it ! Fallon is an awesome raceway, (not the fastest)
Yet Roy Sears did put down a 7.3 second pass, going quicker than the limit.
And Bill & Deedee gave everyone an NMRA event shirt for making it out !
We plan on racing there again in 2004, perhaps in June as April does bring showers,
and most of us would rather give up & not have faith in our own Mother Nature,
after what she did with us in 2002, she made up for it in Fallon Nevada in 2003 ! ! !
We probably won't have a race in April again, with showers and May flowers...
How ever we will be in Arizona at www.FirebirdRaceway.com May 17, 2003
So make sure to mark your calendars & I'll be sending out a flyer next week.
