Congrats Dean

Great job out there this past week Dean!

2 records in the minimum amount of passes is really doing something. You really have that little 1000 hauling! Good seeing you again too.

Thanks Ryan, and congrats to you for going fast and leaving with running bikes. Your classes are a lot tougher than mine.

I had a lot of trouble hooking up the turbo with the salt. Running naked, I went 217 and 213, for a 215 record. With a race upper fairing, I went 223 and 213, for a 218 record. I could barely hold it at 80% throttle, at moderate boost. Went through 3 Dunlop race tires, medium, hard, and Daytona compounds. I wonder if a street tire would have held up better. The motor is fine, no problems, ran great on ERC A8C fuel. A bit rich, but fine. Next time I will add more ballast, I had about 80 pounds in and on the swingarm.

Had a great time, saw a bunch of good friends, and made a few new ones. I'll post some pics soon.

Shane, if I'm not mistaken the rules changed and you can no longer run a street tire? Maybe someone can clarify that cuz good ol petrified wood 207/208s woulda been fine if they were "new" enough ... the race tires seem to chunk out there.

I had my Supercorsas out there but had pressure very high with less HP to the back wheel and no noticable tire spin in 5th and 6th.

BNI only gives you one hat

Ted they say the weight doesn't matter, you have lots of space to get up to speed.
