Busa Fly-By Although I'm not exactly a Busa fan this 08 is really making it harder for me to hate it. Everything happens so smooth and E-A-S-Y on the Busa, can't explain it.
This thing had a full tank of premium, stock height, unopened stock motor, mirrors. Heavy to say the least. Just the mods listed in the vid and it pulled STRONG to the limiter, I feel like under the right conditions it will go 200 with race fuel with me on it.

Very nice A. Do you have a sense for how it compares to a Gen 1 Busa?
This reminds me that Sherman (Comp CNC guy) took a video of a 266mph pass at Loring from the speed traps. I'm sorry to dilute your thread, but this seems like a good place to post the link. Thanks to Sherman.

Zach and Chad live too far away..... and Dani Pedrosa is busy.
All joking aside, size and weight help a lot... but Ali would be a kick ass rider regardless of weight. All that jumping from one bike to another and constant practice add up to a lot of gained knowledge and experience over time.
This endless waltz between Ali and Shane gets more entertaining every year! It's going to be a sad day when they do race, it will be the end of an era for sure.
