Nitrous and Plugs

I'm getting ready to put a 40 dry shot on my 14. I currently run the Iridium CR9EIX. Can this plug still be used for nitrous? If not, what's the best plug when using gas?

KZ Scott, 661, Smokin, Jim(CNC)...hey guys, some of u seem to be very knowlegable in ref to engine builds, Nitrous, Turbos, etc. Help me out here. Thanks!

Dual electrode plugs can double fire and cause lean issues to WOT. Yes you can run them but just know what can happen

There are many example of melted pistons while using IR plugs and Ek plugs. The same can be said for normal NGKEs but..... I has seen more than my fair share of melted parts when using IR and Ek plugs. Everything else in the bikes where setup correctly. I do not recommend using those plugs if you are spraying.

@ 06red, I appreciate that. Adams is pretty knowlegable when it comes to this type of stuff. What type of Nitrous set up r u going with (button or throttle activated and are u going with or w/o progressive system, etc)? I see u chose the spraybar over the fogger. With a 40 or 50 shot is a spraybar advantageous over a fogger system and would it be worth the extra expense?

@ Gixx1300, u stated something that was important in ref to dual electrodes possibly double firing. That's the first time I have heard that. When or how does someone who is running the EK's know when this is happening?

Dual electrode plugs will misfire and double fire more than single electrode plugs. You can do an internet search on the subject. There is some info out there.

I stopped fogging with my 30 shot simply because of all the stories about uneven distribution. I'm currently using a NOS mini setup off of the TPS sensor. it is wired to change maps .1 before the spray turns on
