Busa looks great, Karl! I love the GREEN!!!!

Excellent decision on the new direction. The 12 is a sweet ride, but there's no better platform for an N/A application in LSR than the Busa.

Condolences on the engine, I KNOW you'll have it back up and running strong for Mojave.

We were doing some demonstration runs at Elvington last weekend and managed to kill no3 piston and damage 2 and 4 bad enough to need replacement.
Engine builder suspects banging her on the limiter through the gears could have a lot to do with it.ran best time of 207.2 mph with a slight tailwind before getting noisy.
Do you think the coating could help?? we have some ceramic coating firms over here.
I am thinking of running race fuel to give it a bit more of a safety margin, any suggestions, can get VP or Sunoco over here.
Anybody ??
APE 1395 stroker with JE pistons reground cams, cleaned up head, makes around 220 bhp on a good day.
Nice pictures,nice event.

Me on Karl's 12............Hell to the yeah! I live to learn....................learn to go faster! Sal is lucky that I will never be able to catch him in the experience department because I am much smaller than Karl and I believe he has a little more hp than Sal. Just an observation not a challenge. But I do secretly want to give Sal and his crew a reason to have to come race again in Texas. And then I woke up..........lol

The Texas Mile is an incredible event. Top Notch facility with an organized crew and beautiful track. If it wasn't for the travel distance, we'd be there again without a reason. (Heck, we cry about the trip to Maxton being too far.)

Texas is a gorgeous state, Sal and I both agreed that if we had to move out of Florida, Texas would be our top pick to call home.

LOL! Yeah, I'm probably the last one you'd expect to hear that from.... but it's tough to argue with the record books.

At the highest level of competition in LSR.... you're either on a Busa or chasing one.
