quote: what constatutes running a specfic time. Do you need to back that time up or just run it one time and you're the man. I have always been you need to back up the time before you can claim that time. No I am not H8TNG, but just want clarification.......
I believe running a consistant time is better then being a 1 hit wonder!
I'm backing mine up.8.95@162mph backed up with a 8.99@157mph

I see where you are going with this, yes I only got into the 8's once but I have done the MPH of 160 4 times so it's just a matter of time before the time is backed up! Maybe this week end.

No, I am not taking it anywhere, just wanted to know if everyone is on the backing up tip for times, before you say that you are running a specific. This is how it's done in Prostar. Not pointing fingers.

I agree with the need for a backup, same day is best. Sometimes you can have a perfect run and cut an awesome ET, then never get within .05 again. I backed up the nitrous 8.77 with an 8.81 and the motor 9.23 with a 9.25. But personal bests come under excellent conditions, so if I can get within a few % of my best on any given day I'm happy.

Yeah, I agree, back that thing up, then there's no doubt it wasn't a fluke pass. I consistantly back up my 9:lower 8ish passes....hehehehe. I am so slow

I agree with backing up your time because i have seen bikes go 9.0s for 2 seasons trying to get into the 8s and then one day there was a 8.7 run and then another year of 9.0s.Sometimes weird things happen with the lights also.I never kept the slip but the computer was acting up one day at our local track and I ran a 9.90@201mph.lol
