The chassis was built by a local guy - used to run funnybike and now harleys -- we cut it in half and shortened it and then in half again and narrowed it up -- it was setup for KZ -- then we redid it again and put the 14 into it -- so the chassis has been around the block -- not sure on weight -- its not very light rider is 180 in shorts.
It runs 44 lectrons with an ignition we designed to be able to use the carbs and schnitz pro2 box.
We haven't ran it on motor for a long time -- we put it together I think 4 years ago and the first weekend out it went 5.28 after that we put the dope to it. We are looking for a little bigger sprocket to try it on motor again.
1/8th mile on the 7,75 pass was 4.90 @141 -- usually crappy track we have to slow it down a bit but 4.98-5.02 on an average weekend.

Thanks for the info OSR,
I have a buddy down here in West Palm that's running a ZX12 motor in a KZ moly drag chassis......ignition designed to work with the pro2 box etc. he's thinking of switching to Lectrons too. It puts up good numbers but nothing like yours Keep us posted on your progress.
Thanks, Roy

Why the 44s?
Have you looked at 40s? Most guys I know run 40s, on thier top gas bikes......
Just curious.

44's cause that's what was on the kz and we put them on the 14 and they seem to work a little bit. when mounted directly to the head with our portwork its like a straight shot in -- 44 mm intakes 44mm carbs.
