Dean,
yup, grandma nodded off after about 20min contentedly staring at a setup screen which had me flumoxxed.
I walked away from the TV figuring that it had a better chance of fixing itself than I had of fixing it.

BTW: what races are you planning on making this year?

Beautiful place Karl. I see you flexing your managerial skills, standing by, lighting a cigarette while the blue collar boys do all the heavy work! :-)

Who's the dark-headed guy kissing your wife in the photo!!!!

I like alot of windows in a house gives plenty of light and open feeling but I want to see the garage / shop when it all setup.

A set-up screen, too funny. my grandfather would change channels for a half hour looking for a baseball game, then immediately fall asleep.

I'm getting ready for Maxton in a few weeks. Had a little unplanned meeting of a piston and an exhaust valve on the dyno last week, but I should be ready. I hope to make all the Maxton events, Loring, and an unspecified Bonneville event. I read somewhere that you can't make Bubs, is that right? I'm thinking that an SCTA event is more likely myself, maybe World of Speed.

Sal, thanks! My wife is very happy with it, and that's a good thing.

It'll take me a while to straighten out the garage

I think yr Grandad and I have a lot in common.

YIKES on the piston/valve!

Are you bringing Leslie to Loring? Going to Jim's again?

Due to the wedding in Colombia i will not make BUBS, but might sneak in a Maxton event at the end of May. It would be cool to hit all 5 asphalt events in 2010.

Dooooood you gotta come to Bonneville. Imagine holding it wide open for 3 MILES on a totally flat surface, with 3 miles of shutdown.

Yup, I am 110% with you on Bonneville in my future.
This year it would be a REAL squeeze making it work. I am still leading up an arm, etc as if i were going, but less than 50% chance

I bought the red carpet when i got my wife a new Accord a couple years ago; nothing is too good for a wife who (used to) let me wash heads, cyl, etc in the dishwasher

Michael & Gerard,
when i did the thermal expansion experiment she was curious about what I was up to, didn't faze her have a cyl block & piston in the oven, even insisted i use her oven mitts to remove the block. Yup, good girl.

The desire for a smaller house was in part bc she's a neatness freek, and smaller is easier to clean, also the reason for all tile. It's being a challenge getting rid of enough stuff that wifey + me + Mother in Law fit into the cottage.

You guys are both welcome at our creekside cottage anytime!!
