Infra red Tempature gun question?
Anyone use them at the drag strip to test tire tempature? Thought it would be handy to know what the ideal tire tempature is on a tire that is doing a burnout. Seen one today at the auto parts store for $89.

Buy it...(if it's a good one)...you can use it for all kinds of stufff...
Shoot the pipes on bikes that aren't running right to see which cyl. is "cold"...just one example...
Knowing things like tire/TRACK temp...are nice to know...Makes you look like you might know what you doing if nothing else

z.. the durometer I have came from Longacre Racing Products. Should be easy to hit with a seach. You would be amazed at the difference in the hardness of seemingly identical tires.
