No he didn't have nitrous, it was a stock motor bike. I've got a track rental on Friday 12/13, I will try to make the changes to my airshifter before then (including rewiring it since I'm using the horn for nitrous right now) and maybe get it working by then so I can let you know if these patches fix anything..

Thanks Bergie,That would be a great help.I should receive my reworked tranny from Mark@R&D Motorsports in the next couple days($700) but won't be able to test it till spring.I don't know if you guys remember the 1st few runs on the Muzzy shootout bike but they had to retire it early and go back to the ZRX because of shifting problems.A little bird told me that this reworked tranny was the fix for high horsepower.

I said something about making the hose shorter quite a while back (not a slam )
I moved the solenoid to under the tank (behind the motor)...
We've used...nothing but NOS...in John's since the first re-fill with NO PROBLEMS...
You might need to make the kill-time longer for the spray...IF THE TIRE IS SPINNING (and I'm SURE it is with 1361/spray)...you NEED more kill-time for the trans to unload enough for it to shift...

We did exactly what you told us and still the same problems.Called Muzzys and they said no,no,no,put the air hose length back to the tail section and run the separate bottle for the air shifter and there will be no problems.Well, been there ,done that and when I'm on the spray i still miss shifts no matter what the kill time and I feel that my problem lies in the cutting of the gears.but with this new tranny,i will have know excuses.

Most of the pros I see in 60" PSB had their soleniods (for the airshifter) very close to the shiftlever, some even visible on the side of the bike about 6~15" from the footpeg.. some are low pressure with on-board compressors while a few are CO2 or N2O based.

I had many missed shifts also!!! I rebuilt my transmission, and polished the doglegs!!! Then i increased my delay more. I have the setup per Muzzy specs. I have over 200hp on only pump gas. Working okay so far. Double check your delay setting. Personally i don't feel the regulator is set to a high enough pressure. More line pressure would help tremendously. What is the regulator pressure anyway?!?!

The regulator pressure is set at 160 from Muzzys(mine was anyway)but I will be bumping that up even more, even with the reworked tranny.
