Adams Performance Oiling Mods for ZX14
What is it that he's doing in regards to oiling mods for the cases. Adams Performance recently put up their RealStreet ZX-14 for sale that Jeremy Teasley was riding and listed a host of mods which included "Oiling modifications done to the cases" ???? Does anyone know what the oiling mods are or could possibly be ?? They put it up for sale then took it back off for unknown reasons...I think they took it off the market because they got news that Ryan Schnitz was coming back to AMA Dragbike in 2010 and needed a ride ? But anyways can someone find out what kind of oiling mods that they are doing to the ZX-14 Cases.....

I really don't like to call to ask because you never know what he is doing and into. I just thought mabye someone on here might know !!!!

Im guessing its to get better flow to the bearings (I recall Doug mentioning something like this on his zx11s) and to allow better drain back from the head to the sump, but i reserve the right to be wrong

I'ven't been to the dragstrip in 3? years; gotta go sometime.
You should pop over to Andy's quick, see what Jim has done to Randy's ZX14 head before Andy puts the motor together

Yeah, I'm at HMP,HRP and Sealy. I went to the finals at the last Sealy Race....Yeah I might have to go over there to see what Jim done to Randy's ZX-14 head....Randy who ?

there is some issue with valve pockets being resolved, so i am pretty sure the head isn't on yet. I am dropping by Andy's on Sat to see Randy's work in progress.

Yeah, I've been so busy lately at work and it will be hard for me to get by Andy's to see Jim's World Class Cylinder Head....Wish someone would post a pic of it on here but Jim might have a fit if someone did that !!!!

Yup, too late now. Bike has been on the dyno, made mojo power up to 8 grand. Randy is putting street miles on it and will bring it back for full dyno when it is broken in.

Does the 14 have oil ports to the underside of all 4 pistons? I know Karl did that on the 12.

Yes ZX14 does have oil jets directed to underside of piston, ports/jets are cast into upper crankcase/cylinder block half

 Go ahead and post pics... theres nothing super secret going on with this head. Hell I've posted the MCSA, taper and valve choke of most of my ports on public forrums.
I'll post some pics of the next one I do.
