maple grove race way sucks

we got skipped and screwed out of 2 runs because we got there on time compaired to others getting there late and bitching thay only get 2 runs for 25 dollars. F them for getting there late. now the dragstrip is catering to people who want something for no output. how does that rate the people who got there on time?do you get there 3 hours before they shut down while i have been there from 9am and get them to say i got too many runs now go home so these crybabies can get some runs in. hell it sounds like the government all over.

i got 4 gene got there a bit late and got 3. i do not mind going knowing we only get 4 runs but we could of got 6. while the asses that got there late just suck it up on being late and only get 2 but somhow we voted to give all of them two of my passes.
the thing is there were around 20 bikes. it is not like it takes each bike 20 sec to go the 1/4. they did not save operating time much by pissing us off hell most do not heat the tire up on a street bike at all. just drive up and go.. the new management sucks. i want J.K. back. he did not put up with peoples bull shit.

If a few of you guys want to chip in around $100 we can rent a lane at MIR on a weekday (8 hour day). Easily 40-50 passes, with cool down time.

You can rent the track thoughout the year, as far as I know. It depends on the weather, I'm thinking the end of November for this day.

i remember my first drive on my bike(burned into my memory forever ). mid december 06. day after we got the bike to dads shop. it was a warm sunny day, just under freezing . snowbanks on the sides of the road, but the road was clear. went for a few little rips up and down the road to warm it up, bone stock other than a set of K&N filters, but that air was amazing. with stock gearing, the bike power wheelied by accident after shifting to 3rd gear. took me by complete suprise. set it down and clicked thru a couple more gears, this time getting up close to red line. DAMN . been hooked ever since
if only there was a way to get traction here in december.....

The track, last year, told me about 40-45 degrees is the lowest for traction on the bike...

I've personally run the track at 45 degrees and never spun once.
