getting there

so a goal was set for me to be running the bike faster more often.
first pass cecil md 9.51 then 9.49 then 9.48 then spun and still pulled a 9.56 out of it. 60fts at 1.60 0r 1.59s
when this is the norm i will be able to try to change my pulling out to get below a 1.55 60ft.
it was a good night.

Hey...we need pictures and video...

Then everyone can critique you and tell you what you are doing wrong.

How about at least some time slips that we can pick apart? It may have seemed like a good night to you, but by the time we are done you will definitely think you suck.

That's the way we roll around here....

Good one Shane....Your right on on that,lol.....
I tried my 12 with the Hay`s slider last night.....What a killer feeling to be able to sit there with NO clutch lever to worry about and to just have to twist the throttle to wot and she just takes off easy as all getup without the worry of tire spin or wheelies....Still a long ways to go but I`m just getting to whear I was with a lockup with way more to go.......1.47 60`.......At the fine tuning stage......I`ll get some time slips to show later,lol.....

Let me pull a couple of choice critical comments from my threads. These comments helped me a whole lot:

For you, Shultz: "Not much front half, but it sure does back half........."

For you, Dennis: "Why wont that bike 60ft?"

Words of wisdom, from your online friends.

I hope this helps.

Shane

I like 16/46 gearing i can get better sixty times but it wheelies bad. so i tried 16/44
still pulls the front up. Ask Dennis how bad my bike wheelies LoL at least when i race at Cecil i get twice the runs in compared to maple grove. I need more seat time.

todd do not forget to take the bike out and record you pinning the throttle in first to see what the afr does before the rpms it stands up. we should of took out the power commander for a couple of runs and put my ecu in your bike to see if it stands up. that would be a good test.

So you are running the Pro CLass now on the 12?

You should be in the 1.32 range soon with more adjustments.

Nope haven`t got into those kind of 60` yet....That``s stretching it a little.....Bike is heavy, I`ve gained some weight 195 lbs.....Stock motor, no custom map yet....Custom map is next....And I gotta stay away from the Hagen Daz ice cream,lol.....
My bike was down most of this year getting things fixed, (trans., clutch) so I haven`t raced this year.....I tested again last night Sat. testntune.....I got ALOT of good info on the clutch setup....Bike is just slow.... 9.57 @ 141mph is all I could get out of her....I have to check the mapping to see whats going on.....
