We checked those I put back in my motor, but it took several to find them that were perfect.

If I had been running a stroker, I am sure I would not have been able to do that.

They will get run next season, for a limited basis, then it will be time for a build.

I will finally be able to build a real motor.

Not huge.

1290 with a TON of compression, and a very efficient set up.

Enough to have to slow it down about .2 at any time to stay at 8.90 at 2000 ft elevation in Oklahoma.

Will keep this chasis, and run at around 72 inches with a slick.

back to the rod bolts. the manual says do not reuse them so what would be the proper procedure for pressing them out? or ignore the manual and put them back in?

Maybe a little heat on the piston and depending on which way it expands the pin might just push right on through....
