Electronic engine killl [DIY]
Dudes,
Could somebody tell me what is the range in miliseconds of a programmable ignition kill (Such as Holeshot PS2 or Techtronics)?...

Probably around 10 to 50 ms.

My MPS box is set at around 70ms.

I believe the MPS (and HoleShot) box goes from 50 to 100ms.

Nahhhh...
555 is not very accurate...
I'll make it wid a microprocessor (PIC)... Not me... A friend of mine (Electronic engineer), I cannot program neither a microwave oven...
But that is not the main problem...
I can't figure how to attach a microswitch in the gear lever... (In case of Powashiftin', obviously...)
We already built a microprocessor based Shift Lite...
Isn't it SWEET???...

The Holeshot Powershifter 2 uses a rear brake light switch attached to the shift lever to cut the ignition. Worked like a charm for me, once it was set up.
