Hotels in Maxton, NC
Hello, I'm going to head down to Maxton to watch the races this month and would like
to know about some of the hotels in the area. Are there any in reasonable driving
distance (20-30 min)? Please let me know of your experiences.

Avoid the Scotland Inn, from what I hear. Otherwise, Pine Acres is popular with the LSR crowd. The Comfort Inn in Laurinburg is also pretty nice. The Clinton Inn is so-so. Laurinburg is only about 15-20 minutes from the track.

I've stayed at the Pine Acres and the Clinton Inn. They both were fine for me. All I did there was shower and sleep. Didn't hang out too much.

We always stay in Laurinburg, they have 'bout all the fast food joints and a Golden Corral.
We've stayed at the Jameson Inn, Holiday Inn Express and the Hampton Inn. All are nice and we just go with the best price between the three.
