Rick Mazzola wins MIRock Street ET

Congratulations to my boy Rick Mazzola a.k.a.CrotchRocket for winning the Street ET race at MIR this Saturday. The MIRock races host some of the best dragracers in the country and I know he beat some good racers to get the win. Not bad for a hand clutch, foot shiftin, pump gas ZX12R. WTFG Rick!

Thanks Cheech...Shane...Karl...Dan...Mark !!!

I have been trying to win anything at an MIR - MiRock Series Motorcycle DracRace event for the longest time, to prove to my sponsor Jason Miller & His StreetBike Seminars that he's not sponsoring me for nothing!!!

I have to say that this WIN came at a perfect time because in todays economy sponsors are real hard to come by and to do your best at a MiRock event most of the time is not enough since there is always someone better !!!

On sunday I made it to the 5th round of Pro-ET out of 7 rounds, was the last No Bar bike standing but could'nt run my number running a 9.45 on a 9.41 dial due to hot lapping like a MoFo in 2 classes, Street-ET was 3rd. round.....Yes, I broke a clutch plate which is why my OL' 12 wouldnt run the number...

Always have a geat time @ MIR during the MiRock races !!!

Congrats.

I have always said, don't hot lap the 12. The clutch hates it. I used to try to run two classes in a day, a quick and an et class, and I always got bit in one of em, and was always glad to get out of one, and concentrate on another.

Two 12s winning two large events this weekend. Kudos.

Rick at MIR in Street ET

Me at PMRA in Super Street 9.50

The 12s aint dead yet.

If rules do not forbid it........., get a real clutch, instead of a coupler, and be done with it.

A "real" clutch? Like a 2-step is a "real" throttle control? LOL!

Sorry, NOX...but why don't you drop the "my clutch is better than yours" shit? It gets really, really old.

No offense...

Only because I dont buy clutch plates every weekend......, and some others do.........

And I do not use a two step.

That real clutch is what is eating your 330 also......., you can get it better, but when you do, your clutch will hate you......, unless you get some serious clutch pressure behind it to recover.

I mean, I see the mentality for those that want to , or just want to do it that way, but when it comes to competition in a class, everyone is gonna use every advantage......, if you want to compete, you better have what it takes......., why do you think every bike in PSB went to a GEN II, Gann / Hays type clutch. They are a better clutch system, driven by crank instead of wheel speed, and a heck of a lot better for two handfulls of reasons.

Now, if rules forbid it, thats a different story........

BUT, its like any other racing tool. Just buying one, does not make it better, you have to know how to tune it, which is why so many hate the MTC Gen I. They are a beotch to tune if you dont understand it. That is another reason the hays is so much better, it is way easier to tune in hand clutch mode.

you may grow tired of hearing it, but from my end, I hate the whining of I broke this, had to buy more that........,

Goes both ways.

I hit my head on a wall, it hurt.....

I hit my head on a wall, it hurt......

I stopped hitting my head on the wall........, oh, better..........LOL
