Guess that trick worked Scott. Good for you if it did......, probably picked up the 330 by taking some bog out?

thx guys. my first 8, and without power adders! had great weather today, cool air, nice tailwind. put in a new clutch hub and a set of steels, took some weight off the clutch so it wasnt standing up as bad, and tried a home fabbed (as Nox would put it "Voodoo") multi stage conversion... im not even sure if that set of arms is even kicking in, im going to go play with it on the stand in a bit.
dads bike was running well. his best was a 9.17 @148, but heres mine



best 60/330 to date, and i think it can come down a lot more. my shock isnt allowing full travel of the wheel yet, so it still needs to squat more. im sliding in the seat a bit, and im bringing my feet up pretty quick(old habit from running no airshifter in 07).
i know that if the new set of arms isnt kicking in, it wont hold the hp of my wet system, so i need to be sure its working before i spray it tomm.
best mph on motor today, running on pump gas 8 sec bikes are very rare around here, a lot of the car guys couldnt believe it, especially the mustang in the other lane

lol yeah he was flying at 330, a car took out that timing light on a nitrous pass gone wrong(rolled 6 times, but was he fine, car... not so much) search youtube for boo king crash

4500 on the 2 step
i had some trouble with my truck today so i only got there in time to sneak in 4 TTs. good news is my voodoo clutch is working, i added a little weight this morning and the 2 arms held back by the springs are kicking in a bit after the other ones. so my home made multi is working! it was making the bike wheelie as they were kicking in, so instead of taking the weight off, i softened the rear end up a bit, which helped, but its still not squatting enough. i havent gotten the tire to rub the tail yet, so theres more left. i think with a few more runs and suspension tweaks the clutch would be setup to run 8.9s NA all day long, and be enough to hold a nitrous pass. points event next wknd, ill be trying again. got a 9.10 @153 today with a pretty good wheelie. air wasnt as good and no tailwind. ran 13 psi in the shinko today, ill probly try a bit more next wknd

What were the temps at the track today, Scott? It looks like it cost you a little mph..but 153 is still great on pump.
