The new OEM oil pump arrived today so the motor goes back together next week. I'm traveling until next Fri so maybe I'll be moto-vating next weekend. Tests to follow

It'll be a bit before I try because I want a valid test. We are gonna break in the motor on the dyno like Motoman says and I want the "normal" set up for the dyno pulls. After that i'll take it to the dyno in Dallas for A/F optimization. Then to track for T&T. When everything is settled down I'll do the test on a fresh clutch.
A fly in the ointment is that I have a lot of company traveling between now and X-Mas (UK, Germany, Angola, Nigeria, Cal, and more). I am arranging the travel to leave me Sun pm's now & then for T&T. Goddamn job is actually asking me to do stuff!
I am VERY curious about the test and will get to it as soon as possible. Thx again for sending 'em to me!

Mike is experimenting with clutch plates; seeing as I am the "AntiChrist of clutch longevity" i got tapped to do some tests for the MMR Team.
My travel has to do with ChevronTexaco Rotating equipment (turbines, centrifugal compressors & pumps - BIG shit). I go to plants that make pumps and compressors for water and gas handling for oil production and then go to the sites that use em. Pretty cool duty. 30,000 hp injection pumps at 10,000psi: VERY cool machining and balancing tools. Went to Dresser-Rand's Olean plant last week and they had a milling maching with a 20' diameter "turntable" - woo-hoo!!!!
